Can I get some kisses... finally?!

It looks as though big sister is finally... 5 months later... realizing this little intruder isn't going anywhere... so I may as well like him! Ceci has really started to take an interest in Les. And a sweet interest!! Thank goodness. Before, she was either being a terrorist or acting like he didn't exist. Now, she gives hugs and kisses in the mornings and throughout the day. It is TOO sweet.

Gooood Morning, Les!! When poor Les takes naps, she will sneak into my room and whisper "wake up, Les" while he's snoozing in his crib.

She likes to put her face really close to his then just start giggling... SO loudly. It is the cutest thing!! 

More hugs!! Les looks kind of scared. He can only go on past history with the terrorist (after hours pediatric opthomologist appt, we recall... thank goodness Les' eye was ok!!)

Playdate with our bestie Ella!! Her Mom and Dad had an appt (E is going to be a big sister:)!!), so I took the ladies to a birthday party... and they met us there. They had some play time before we left.

Ceci's Check-up!!

I still can't believe my "baby" is two!! Wow. Her well baby check-up went so great!! She actually loves going to the doctor (weird, yes!). She has a little bear with a play stethoscope that gets us prepared.:) She walks around the house listening to our heartbeats saying "Docta Ceci." She's meeting/exceeding all milestones and growing just perfectly. This little stinker was in the 92nd percentile in height, 95th percentile in head size (takes after Daddy) and 25th percentile in weight. My little tall, thin model.;) Heehee. I would say she takes after Mommy in that respect, but I haven't been tall and skinny (the latter) since I was in high school. All down hill after college!! But tall and thin does run in the family.;)

Some funnies I want to remember from just recently - we still sing and dance every day. I try to use this for entertainment as opposed to television (try!). She always turns to me and says "no sing, Mommy. Ceci sing" or "no dance, Mommy. Ceci dance." Every single time!! I must be horrible at both.:) And this morning Les, Ceci and I were sitting together reading books when Les leans over and grabs a huge chunk of Ceci's hair and pulls away. Would NOT let go. That boy has done it to me lots of times and he has a strong grip! She started crying. It was kind of funny. Actually very funny. As he gets older, their relationship should get pretty entertaining I imagine.

I try to take her on dates with Mommy. I had a sitter come for Les, and Ceci and I went to eat lunch and shop. She had a blast...!
