I hear no less than 570 times a day, "Mama, I gotta tell you somethin'," from Les. Oh my stars! I love that little man but sometimes Mommy does get worn out listening to what everyone "has gotta tell me!":):) The day they don't want to tell me, I'll be crying though.
It's WES, not WES! Sweet Les... He is so close to having is "L's" down but still has a tendency in his sweet innocent way of saying is name with a "W." We think he's too cute, but he tends to get frustrated after he introduces himself to people. He says (so he thinks), "my name is Les." They reply with, "oh hi, Wes." And he says, "no, Les (Wes)." "Hi, Wes." "NOOOO, LES (WWWES)." ;);) One day it will all come together for our big man.
Joseph = J town, J stylin' profilin', Juicy, J, Lovebug, BooBoo Bear... Just a few of the many terms of endearment for our SWEET one year old baby J! I haven't been the best at updating my blog since 2015 wrapped, but I am trying to catch up... and yes, he's ONE! He crawls up and down stairs, stands without support, is eating all sorts of table food, knows how to "raise the roof," says Dada and Mama, drinks cold whole milk;) (after a year of breastmilk! No formula for the Duhon kids), smiles, laughs and makes our hearts full EVERY SINGLE DAY! We love our baby!

Les to Joseph, "I NOT A TOY, JOSEPH!"
Ceci joined me to get my hair done, and we were talking about Joseph in the pack n' play when I bathe the big two or in the car seat. The boy hates confinement. I was communicating how awful it is, and Ceci chimed in,"it really is unbelievable."
Ceci asked where Daddy was one afternoon last week, and I said he was at work and would be home shortly. Her reply, "good because I just totally freaked out." I about DIED. Where does she get this stuff!?
SWEET Ceci has really been making me feel good lately. I often say, "I'm trying my best" in the midst of our very long (fun;)) days. I also do a decent job of apologizing when I need to --- for raising my voice, etc. Anyway... she has recently come out and said "Mommy, I like you just the way you are, and we know you are trying your best." Heart melt!
Ceci told me last week she "wanted to grow her bangs out." Ummm, are you 5 or 15? The word bangs have probably never been uttered from my mouth much less in the context of letting them grow... Where do they get this stuff!?
Randomly on the way to school last week, Ceci said "maybe when I grow up, I can live right next door to you!" Hahaha! Ok, I am reminding her of this when she's married with kids and I can walk next door to visit whenever I want! She might be rethinking that comment.;)
Les likes sweets --- anything... candy, cookies, cake, ice cream... and for that matter, anything junky! Fries, chips, popcorn.
Ceci doesn't like sweets (right now) --- she goes for the natural sweets, LOVES fruit. Should be interesting to see how that changes/remains the same in the future.
