I can't believe my crying eyes! My little preemie started KINDERGARTEN! I am not much one to cry... but the eve before K, did I ever, ever cry?!??! YES. I couldn't even function. THIS LITTLE GIRL OF MINE IS IN SCHOOL. My love. My first born. My baby who I almost (and would) die for. It was a hard road getting her into this world but oh how JOYOUS of occasions was it for our Lord to grant us her earthly parents! WOW. No greater joy has this been and what a tall order it is from above to be blessed with a child. Cecilia has been a firecracker since she entered the world and she is still a GLOW, a SPARK, a LIGHT in the world. We love you, Cecilia, and Daddy and I are SOOO PROUD OF YOU!
After much prayer and consideration (and visits) to local area schools, we set our hearts and heads on Benedict Day School (BDS). Their purpose "can simply be described as providing an atmosphere that fosters success at the highest level for students who are driven to learn."
I serve lunch every Tuesday alongside some amazing Mammas and LOVE it. I also volunteer in many other ways and can't get enough of being involved in Cecilia's daily life and how she views the world and her ever-changing reality.

Sweet Daddy is always there for the important moments and always has a special way of getting information out of this girl that I can't!?!???!?! What!?! I'm sorry but I am here all the time yet she waits until Daddy gets home to disclose (in a private discussion) that she's in love with her PE teacher, Mr. Josh, and that he has "green eyes and brown hair and is so sweet." Excuse me, is Mom chop suey?!?!
