These kiddos are growing to beat the band! My goodness! And they have just been cracking me up. I must say, the fighting that goes on --- between two camps - the Les/Ceci fights and the Les/Joseph fights drive me bonkers daily. In fact I picked up Joseph upside down today and while tickling him, I walked to the kitchen and told the big kids that I was throwing him in the garbage. They started laughing then Ceci piped up and said "Mom, no, you're really not going to throw him in the garbage, are you?!" Ha!!:) No, I'm not. But he better watch it!:) Heehee.
I took the kids to eat Mexican last week. We love stops for cheese dip and quesadillas! Nummy! This one visit was quite the challenging one. Some are easy breezy, most aren't... but try, we will! I started eating some of "Ceci's" cheese dip, and she said, "Mom, I am so confused right now. What are you doing?" Then about 10 mins later, Les finds the light switch next to him on the wall and turns off all the lights in the restaurant. Then he put his small toy horse in the salsa then in my water. I was so tired at that point I continued to drink the water with the salsa-dipped plastic horse in it. Gross. (All the while Joseph is trying to sling himself from the highchair). The waitress swung by and snatched my glass up for a refill and Les lost it. Completely started screaming because she took the horse. And she comes back, with the water (and unbeknownst to her... the horse too), so I scooped the horse out with the fork and all was right in the world. Barely made it out alive of this lunch date.
Les gets way outdone with Joseph. Sweet face below, you say?! Don't let that smile fool you. This boy takes up for himself (and also starts fights) whether it be with a foam sword, his teeth or his lizard grip with a mean scratch, he WILL hurt you. Don't cross him. One day Les was just over it and said, "I guess I'll ask him why he did that when he gets bigger." I'll pick up the kids from the gym nursery to hear, "well, Joseph bit Les again. Twice. He will probably have a huge bruise." Poor Les. Then Les retaliates (and of course is a lot bigger), then Joseph gets really hurt. All I can see in the future for the Duhon boys... BLOOD SHED. Poor Mom!
Joseph loves eggs, blueberries, cucumbers, and all else unhealthy --- LOVES chocolate, cheetos, veggie straws (which are chips), etc! He is actually a great eater though... eats baked shrimp, chicken, and on and on. He is 16 months and his favorite word is "DOWN!" He hates being in his highchair!
I took the big kids to a movie and lunch a few weeks ago... Zootopia and you guessed it... Mexican! Well, Zootopia had a few animals gone bad. Nothing too bad but Ceci doesn't take well to anything remotely scary. That night and the next few were plagued by nightmares for her.:( Mom fail... get a sitter for Joseph, eat out, get candy, popcorn and drinks at the movie, then... nightmares. Ugh. Anyway, Les has used this against our sweet Ceci. Anytime he wants to get to her, he walks around and starts saying, "Ceci, Zootopia, Zootopia, Zootopia, Zootopia" until she starts crying. He's so silly. Geez!!
St. Patrick's Day fun! We were supposed to be in Biloxi for the parade. My family gets a float each year. The weather was so bad, we didn't end up going.:( But we were geared up!
