Here we go... playing catch up, as usual! Captions below for pictures. Gosh, I love these babies and am so thankful I get to be their Mommy!!!
Les and Ceci are maturing like crazy (maturing? A 3 yr old and 4 yr old... heehee... kind of!!).
I pray in the car with the kids on way to school every day. I let the kids "say a special prayer" if they choose to do so. One day Les' prayer was, "God, thank you for Jesus and the Ole Miss Webbels (Rebels)." I guess Daddy has started the brainwashing early!!
Sometimes I ask Ceci to go right outside to check how it feels... and her typical reply is "it's just right." Too cute.
Les has been getting in trouble at school from time to time. He is ALL BOY. Last week, he had to go to the front desk with the pre-school director because he was terrorizing the other kids... knocking their block towers down, taking their toys, throwing toys across the room, and telling his teacher, Mrs. Deborah "no" all day. We had a major discussion that evening, and he was good the next day. Then...... a couple days later.... back to ALL BOY. What am I going to do with him!?! He also gets hurt. Every. Single. Day. But apparently according to the teachers who see these falls, he busts it then follows up with "You see my head, I need a popsicle." Hmmm... choice induced falls or accidents? You decide.
Ceci thinks she's a spy. She is constantly telling us "I sneak up you..." not "on you" but "you." Clearly she tells us she plans to sneak up on us... I think eventually she will figure out she shouldn't give us a heads up.:)
Ceci & Les are still taking naps. Ceci has started slowly growing out of them being almost 5, but I've read that she still needs her "relaxation" time. This week Les fell asleep while Ceci was at dance, then when she got back I made her lie down. Les got up (after an adequate nap), but I made Ceci continue to rest upstairs. She was SO UPSET. Les kept chanting as we were walking away, "Ceci, now stop crying. Go to sleep; you need to berax (relax)." It was hysterical. Ceci keep "beraxing."
There are SOOOOO many other funny and sweet things the kids do/say. I try to keep notes in my phone but need to do a better job!!
Re JOSEPH!! Some nicknames are "J Town" and "Juicy J." He is a dreamboat! He is such a precious and laid back baby. We ALL love him so. Ceci and Les truly are the best bigs to him. He is a lucky baby. This boy started army crawling all over the house VERY early. Interestingly enough, he has continued to army crawl and not get on all fours but rest assured, he GETS A-ROUND!

Ceci & I spoke at a Rotary Club meeting re her arrival into this world at 30 wks, weighing 3 lbs 5 oz. I was on the executive leadership team of the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction annual fundraiser for our state this year. It was a very gratifying and rewarding event; anything to help our sweet babies heals my heart.
