The Duhon Family: May 2015

There is SO much to say. I can't tell you how much Les is saying now. He is talking as if he's a teenager (along with the attitude). With sweet Joseph now in the mix, I haven't updated the blog as I should, but I'm determined to make this year's blog as best as the rest!!:)

Here are some funnies!

Les has decided he is going to walk out the backdoor behind us after Jonathan and I leave for a dinner date, telling the sitter "I gonna go find my Mommy and Daddy" as he leaves. Ummm no. Of course we LOVE our little boy, BUT he is not allowed to open doors without an adult present. Geez.

He thinks it's really funny when I ask him to give me a kiss. He will say "no, Mommy. Now, cry." OMG! Stinker! Then when I start "crying" he comes up and gives me a kiss. Then he wants to start the game again. "Mommy, you want a kiss? Cry!"

Les decided he wanted some Easter candy and was not going to stop until he got some. He decided to pull out the drawers in the kitchen, then climb up drawer by drawer, crawl across the stovetop (which luckily wasn't on).... to get to the loot. He decided the mini Reese's cups were his faves that day. He was savvy enough to get the outside, silver wrapper off but couldn't quite nail down that there was a brown wrapper on the candy as well. Needless to say, he chewed and chewed and chewed until I caught him in the act when he spit out the wrapper in my hand.

Ceci LOVES flowers and "jewels" --- aka anything that sparkles which includes sequins etc.

Ceci tells Les "you scribble scrabble but I'm an artist."

They were so proud to tell everyone about their new little brother, Joseph!!

Miss Abbie, our sweet sitter, took this! She is BEYOND talented in sketching, watercolors, anything art, etc.

All those few pics above were by our sweet Abbie!! She was a LIFESAVER a few weeks after the baby was born. Ceci had a fever virus that lasted for SIX days. It was awful and gave me extreme anxiety since Joseph was so tiny. Abbie was the sweetest, most patient and helpful person I could have asked for!!

Poppy and Nanny came for a visit and brought up some crawfish to boil!!! First stop though... Kids Rule to do some jumping!

Supper Club fun! Jonathan and I are in a supper club with 13 other couples. This month the host proposed a "scavenger hunt." We got big points for scoring a pic with a local celebrity... Jonathan called Robert St. John, a restaurant'er and author.:)

We were bringing these to their teachers (Ceci picked them of course... out of our neighbor's yard. Oops). I decided to let the kids hold their flowers for their teachers. Well, I look in the rear view and Les stuck the entire flower in his mouth and was chewing away. Ummmm, NO. This Mom definitely called poison control and had a long discussion on types of seeds, flowers, etc. He was ok.:) BOYS, I tell ya!
