Duhon Wiffle Tourney 2023 - Les Turns 11!!!

The weather in South MS has been absolutely terrible!! SOOOO HOT! It's been insane. But that doesn't stop birthday parties!! The show must go on! We had Les' 11th birthday party at OG Optimist Park after school on a Friday afternoon. We had 26 boys show up, and I "think" they had a good time.... regardless of the extreme heat. 

We are so proud of our sweet, handsome Les!!

After the party, Carey and Walker stayed the night. We ding dong'd ditched (got caught more than once) then hopped into the neighborhood pool after hours (and also got caught!!:)). They have a long way to go on being sneaky, lol!

Big Cedar Lodge - YPO Family Meeting 2023

This was a super fun trip to Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri! The kids and I got to hear Johnny Morris speak, CEO/Founder of Bass Pro Shops. As a multi-billionaire, he was extremely humble and seemed like such a great human!! We heard other fun speakers and listened to some fun country music bands! The theme park we went to was SO FUN, Silver Dollar City.

World Series - 2023 - Pigeon Forge, TN

We sure did have a ton of fun in Pigeon Forge!! We not only got to play some ball (and win our bracket), we went to Dollywood and Splash Country! It was a great week but a LONG drive. The week started with Jonathan's birthday, so he grilled steaks at the cute cabin we had. What a fun night!!!

 Ya gotta start somewhere. Yikes. I have essentially fallen out of the blogosphere due to what more than LIFE! It has been insane, and after I failed to complete/print the blog last year - 2022, the procrastination and epic failure of entering posts just got worse and worse. So, here we are. Plenty of reasons to post and hope I don't miss any highlights on this task of catch up!!!
