Joseph O'Keefe Duhon is HERE!!

Well, I haven't blogged since Feb. 23rd, 4 days before baby Joseph made his debut into the world... and ON his scheduled date! Unbelievable!! We finally didn't have an emergency (Ceci) or semi-urgent (Les) situation on our hands. It was truly a remarkable and memorable experience. I guess it took three c-sections for the last one to really soak in. I was able to cruise in on time, get prepped, chat it up with Dr. Holland (OBGYN), Dr. Henderson (neonatologist), Chad Pattie (anesthesist), the nurses etc. The procedure went smoothly and quickly (well until one minute when Dr. Holland said a couple times to his team that my bladder was in the way... please don't snip that!!). Baby J was brought into this world weighing 7 lbs, 1 oz and 20 inches long! He was a dreamboat! As I blog, he is going on 11 wks old and gives us smiles that will melt your heart. Both children, even Les, adore Joseph! Les is very much into being a "big boy," so the thought of Joseph in the house doesn't cramp his style of being the big man on campus, tackling Daddy, playing with his cars, beating up on Ceci, among other things. Oh, and he is almost totally potty trained! Hopefully before he turns three in three months we will be there! I'll try to get in some pics in of Joseph before I move on to the hilarious and SUPER sweet comments and thoughts of our 4 yr old and 2 yr old!

We had a sweet, unexpected visitor, Dr. Clint White, the neonatologist heavily involved in Cecilia's care. We LOVE him. He gave our family the tour of the new NICU wing... and our very own Ceci is on the wall.:)
