Sweet Baby J turns TWO!!!

Say it isn't so!!! Our baby can't be TWO! I may cry! This little rascal is talking more and more and lights up any room he walks into with his staggering good looks and mischievous eyes. He can take some major slams by his siblings, particularly big brother Les. I've never seen a child take a licking or fall flat on his face, and get up tear-free and ask for more! He is into cars from the movie Cars 3 and also loves to say "mine.";) Today he took off his diaper after school and decided to pee on one of his cars. I guess I say he loves them... maybe this is his way of showing it.:) He LOVES to dance and has mad moves to prove it. One of his favorite activities is playing tackle with his Dad and sibs. As soon as Jonathan walks in the door, he yells "TA-CK-EL!"

He has got to be one of the cutest 2 yr olds, or THE cutest 2 yr old, on the planet. And we love him so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Party at the camp!!! He was into the Wiggles when his birthday rolled around, so our cake was topped with Dorothy the Dinosaur! He did the dance for us and all! This quickly changed to Buzz (Buutthh) and Woody ("Wooooey") from Toy Story and now at 2.5 yrs, Cars. (yes, I am trying to catch up blogging;)).

A sweet farewell to our friend, Fawn!

One of our very good friends moved this year, and we hosted a little going away for her at Branch. Several people came to wish her a good-bye. Her husband Zac was the USM strength and conditioning coach. We will miss them!!

Easter FUN!!

We had a super fun Easter this year, as Joseph was even able to get in on the action!! We typically do 3 hunts --- at our school, at Jonathan's parents during our annual crawfish boil then at his parent's church! So fun!

Mamma made the year SUPER special and wanted to go to each class and bring treats and read a story. She is the very best, and we love her so! We couldn't ask for a loving and involved Mamma! She is so selfless and has a heart of gold. A true example of a Godly woman.

Laissez bon temps rouler!!! All things MARDI GRAS!

We had a really fun and eventful Mardi Gras this past year!! Cecilia was asked to be a part of the royal court of the Mystic Krewe of Zeus in Hattiesburg as Princess to King Greg Garraway. It was such an honor, and she absolutely LOVED it all. From the rehearsals, costumes, bright lights and attention to the CROWN, she loved every minute. I was also asked to serve as Mistress of Ceremonies for the Krewe of Athena in Biloxi. I was a member of this krewe over 11 years when I resigned my membership after we had Les. It was just too much to travel there weekly for practice etc. So it was a fun and special time for me to be asked to do this. It ended up being a lot more fun than I expected, as I was nervous about my 30 page tableau (and the fact I've never been an MC before!). It was great!!!:)
