Jonathan and I took a fun trip to Greenwood, MS and stayed at The Alluvian. Jonathan loves to visit our state of Mississippi and explore all the history and heritage that we might miss out on if we jump ship and take trips elsewhere! We've vacationed in Natchez, Vicksburg and now Greenwood. So sweet and so fun!!
This trip revolved around food mostly, followed by the spa then some shopping.:)
Lusco's was a very fun and interesting place! It's been around for 80+ yrs or so and one of the most well known in the Delta! It began as a grocery store and emerged into a restaurant.

I almost forgot in the midst of the eating, the spa and shopping, we got in a Viking Cooking Class, which was SO much fun... and was dinner too, of course, so that ties in eating.;) The menu theme for the evening was "The Help" cuisine, based on the movie that was filmed in Greenwood. Viking was founded in Greenwood, MS.
