One of my best friends, Brooke Paladichuk (Vera and Briggs' Mom), chaired Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball this year and it was truly amazing. The net profit trend over the past decade was steadily declining (which I was all too familiar with being treasurer a few years prior to completing my 6 year membership when this group overlapped and took over). We had large donors reroute their funds to other non-profits, so it was challenging to bring the net from $80k'ish to last year of $50k'ish up.... AND she did it! The net amount raised was in excess of $130k. Congrats to Brooke and her team! Very good job!!
