When we finally starting getting out after strict quarantine, we would do outdoor activities. Our sitter Kalynn brought Ceci, Les, Joseph, Ella and Vivi to the playground. It was a hot day, and Ceci leapt toward the monkey bars and slipped off, landing on her elbow. Initially she was hysterical but by the time she got home (under 10 mins later), she wasn't crying but more so in shock. We took her to the ER and called our ortho surgeon friends en route. We were able to get right in and were told that it was broken and most likely would need pins. We saw Dr. Rocco Barbieri two days later who confirmed she needed surgery (on Jonathan's birthday!!). She was SUCH a trooper. It healed right up and she has a scar to show those tough battle wounds!!!
